Eastern Journal of Psychiatry is the official publication of Indian Psychiatric society Eastern Zonal Branch. It is an peer reviewed, open access, indexed journal which publishes original work in all fields mental health and allied disciplines. Eastern Journal of Psychiatry publishes half-yearly biannually June and December Issue.

Open Access Policy: This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. The target audience of this issue are mental health professionals, professionals of allied disciplines and mental health policy makers.

Eastern Journal of Psychiatry is different from other Indian journals in the filed as there is hardly any other journal, available for publication in the electronic or print medium, which has stake holders from the wide spectrum of mental health interface including Clinical Psychology, Psychiatry, Psychiatric Social Work and Psychiatric Nursing. The breadth and width of publication in the area of mental health encourages researchers from diverse background attempting to understand dynamics and intervention in the field of mental health.
